Summer Camp
Bushido know the importance for kids to stay active and learn in a community setting how to help and respect one another, This can be rather difficult for parents during the long summer break. We offer our kids summer camp to help them stay busy, connect with pears their age and learn skills that will benefit them in their day to day life, while keeping it fun and engaging. Knowing that this opportunities are a privilege, BWB would sponsor children and give them place to enjoy there summer.
Japanese Fall Festival
Bushido Dojo values the Japanese culture it comes from and brings it to the community through their annual fall fest.
The students can decide in which capacity they'd like to contribute to it. They can choose between a performance of their martial arts skills, origami, calligraphy, kimono or to help the visitors around the festivals with any questions they might have.
Bushido members have witness the growth many go through while taking on different responsibilities around the festival
Anual Camping trip
Each year the Dojo is hosting a three day camping trip. This helps the memebers bond, learn life skills and enjoy the fresh air around them.
BWB would provide the participant with transportation, camping equipment and food.
This yearly excursion did not only foster strong camaraderie between the members, but helped them become more dependable and focused.
